What I keep, and how to make me delete it.
Bransford Media is a one-person video production company in Austin, Texas. I collect the minimum I need to do the work you hired me for. I don’t sell it, I don’t hand it to advertisers or data brokers, and I don’t keep it after it stops being useful.
What I collect
When you contact me: your name, email, phone number, and whatever you write in the message, including the service you select and any links or requested deadline. Requests are stored so they can be followed up, with confirmation emails and your original request kept together. When I’m working for you: the footage, photos, audio, and files we create together, plus the emails and texts between us about the project.
When you visit this site: Google Analytics measures visits, pages viewed, and successful inquiries. We do not send your inquiry text, name, or email address as analytics event data. The LUT store also uses Google Analytics and the Meta pixel, and records download and purchase activity to operate the store.
I run private software that connects to my own Instagram business account, @william.bransford, through Meta’s official API. It reads three things and only from my own account: comments people leave on my posts, posts that tag me, and direct messages people send me.
It stores them in a private database on my own computer, so that when someone I know reaches out on Instagram I have the same history I’d have from an email or a text. Nothing is published, shared, sold, or sent to any third party. The software never posts, comments, or messages anyone on my behalf, and it never touches an account other than my own.

LUT store and previous services
The LUT store keeps the email address and camera preferences you submit, download activity, and purchase and delivery records so we can send requested files, support purchases, and send updates only when requested. Our former client portals and Show Mechanics signup pages are retired. Existing records have not been automatically deleted; you can request deletion using the instructions below.
What I don’t do
I don’t sell your information. I don’t use your footage in my portfolio without asking first. I don’t send marketing email you didn’t ask for.
Who else touches it
Services that hold pieces of this on my behalf include Google (email and analytics), Railway (website, store, commerce database, public media and private product files), Supabase (Core inquiry records and follow-up history), Vimeo and YouTube (published video), Stripe (payments; Stripe holds card details), Meta (Instagram), Resend (transactional email), and Vercel (legacy redirects and retained application callbacks). Earlier inquiry records are retained for continuity and recovery, including historical copies in Twenty. New website inquiries and follow-up records are stored in Core. Each service has its own privacy policy.
How long I keep it
Project files and the conversation around them: as long as you’re a client, plus a few years after, because clients come back and ask for old footage more often than you’d think. Everything else: until it stops being useful, or until you ask me to delete it.
Deleting your data
Email william@williambransford.com with the subject “Data deletion request” and tell me what to remove: your contact record, your Instagram comments and messages, your project files, or all of it. Say which Instagram handle or email address to look for so I can find you.
I’ll confirm within 7 days and finish within 30. If something has to stay, an invoice I’m legally required to keep, for instance, I’ll tell you exactly what and why. There’s no cost and I won’t ask you to justify it.
