Sony FX30 LUTs

Sony: in Cine EI, shooting at an EI equal to or lower than the base ISO is generally recommended (shoot at EI = base ISO for least noise and most latitude). Help guide also notes S-Log3 noise may be improved by shooting brighter, at the cost of dynamic range.

Camera settings

  • MENU > Shooting > Image Quality/Rec > Log Shooting Setting > Log Shooting: Off / Flexible ISO / Cine EI Quick / Cine EI
  • Base ISO (Cine EI): ISO 800 or ISO 2500
  • Preset LUTs S-Log3 / s709 / 709(800%) plus user LUTs
