Sony a7S III LUTs
Sony help guide (Picture Profile notes): S-Log noise is more noticeable than other gammas; it may be improved by shooting with a brighter setting, but dynamic range becomes narrower accordingly; Sony recommends test shooting first. No 18% grey target is published in the help guide.
Camera settings
- Firmware Ver.4.00 or later: Log Shooting Setting > Log Shooting: On (Flexible ISO); PP7-PP9 presets and S-Log2/S-Gamut can no longer be used
- Before firmware 4.00: Picture Profile PP8 (S-Log3/S-Gamut3.Cine), PP9 (S-Log3/S-Gamut3), PP7 (S-Log2)
- Preset LUTs S-Log3 / s709 / 709(800%) and PPLUT1-4 user LUTs with firmware 4.00+
