Nikon Zf LUTs

Nikon's Log-Format/RAW Technical Guide: for N-Log, expose an 18% grey card to about 35% on the waveform (10-bit code value around 372).

Camera settings

  • Video recording menu: Video file type = H.265 10-bit (MOV), then Tone mode = N-Log. Internal recording.
  • Minimum N-Log ISO is ISO 800 (mode M). Firmware 'C' 2.00 added Lo 0.3-Lo 2.0 (about ISO 640 down to ISO 200 equivalent), which cuts highlight headroom. For those settings Nikon suggests a zebra highlight threshold of about 230 (Lo 0.3-1.0) or 200 (Lo 2.0).
